How can specialized systems, platforms, and processes be designed to meet the requirements of the public sector while also being operated securely, efficiently, and independently? How do innovative technologies such as Agentic AI help make administrative processes smarter, more efficient, and more automated without relinquishing control over data, decisions, and infrastructure? In our webcast from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Materna and STACKIT will demonstrate how modern administrative procedures can be securely migrated to the cloud. There are two main approaches: Individual specialized procedures can be redeveloped as cloud-native solutions, or existing solutions can be migrated to a sovereign cloud environment. Alternatively, established standard platforms such as ServiceNow can be operated on a sovereign infrastructure and, with Materna’s process and administrative expertise, tailored precisely to the requirements of German public administration. Using concrete examples, we’ll demonstrate how government agencies can benefit from a cloud that is developed and operated in Germany.

Materna introduces Sinfonie, an on-premises platform for digital humans

At NVIDIA GTC, Materna is introducing Sinfonie, a new platform for sophisticated digital humans. The solution combines generative AI, voice interaction, and interactive 3D avatars to create digital expert assistants that support employees in knowledge work, internal processes, and complex issues. All components can be operated entirely on the customer’s premises without data ever leaving their own infrastructure. Sinfonie emerged from the experience gained during a customer project for a North Rhine-Westphalia state administration in Germany. Materna has further developed the approach created there, using open-source and NVIDIA technologies, into a transferable platform for professional use in government and business.
