Materna Trust Center

This is how we implement compliance, data protection and security in order to be your trusted partner.

Materna Trust Center

Trust is not just a promise, but the basis of our business. We work with great commitment every day to gain, consolidate and protect the trust of our customers. Compliance, data protection and security - especially information security - are not just buzzwords - they are essential pillars of our philosophy in order to stand by your side as a reliable partner. However, our focus is not only on the present, but also on shaping a forward-looking technology landscape. For us, progress and sustainability go hand in hand. That is why we are actively committed to minimising our impact on the environment, the economy and society. In a constantly changing world, we are pioneers who not only adapt to change, but proactively shape it.

Welcome to the Materna Trust Centre, where trust is the key to partnership and future-oriented cooperation. Here you will find comprehensive information and evidence of how Materna fulfils and lives up to its corporate responsibility.

Information security

The security and protection of information assets form a central basis for trusting co-operation with business partners. This applies not only to the supply chain, but also to the protection of customer data and personal data. With our information security guideline, the Executive Board of the Materna Group lays the foundation for the Group's information security management system (ISMS). This also forms the basis for a security culture within the company.
Increasing threats from cyberspace require a continuous strengthening of the company's resilience.

A growing number of EU regulations in the area of information security and their implementation in the ISMS make a significant contribution to compliance.

Compliance

At Materna, compliance means more than just adhering to the law. Fair competition, integrity and sustainable business practices as well as ethical and responsible behaviour are the basic principles of our business success and reflect the values of the company founders and the entire company. We are expressly committed to fair competition and compliance with all applicable national and international laws. In particular, we do not tolerate any form of corruption, bribery or price fixing. Compliance with our basic principles is a top priority for us. We have created the necessary framework for this with our Compliance Management System (CMS). Our CMS consists of the following components, among others.

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct is based on our commitment to ethically responsible behaviour at employee and company level. The Code of Conduct summarises the values and principles of conduct within the Materna Group.

Whistleblower system

If, despite our preventive measures, violations of our internal guidelines or other infringements occur, we would like to be informed of any unlawful behaviour in our company so that we can clarify and eliminate such behaviour. For this reason, an anonymous external whistleblower system is available to our employees, customers, suppliers and other parties. The system can be used to report existing, potential or imminent misconduct - both at Materna itself and within our supply chain. The whistleblower system allows a confidential and specially encrypted dialogue with the Compliance Department of the Materna Group.

You can access the system via this link or by scanning the QR code.

Alternatively, you can also contact the Compliance Officer of the Materna Group directly by e-mail or telephone using the contact details below. We will carefully review each case and take the necessary measures if necessary.

For this reason, we are committed to our social responsibility and make a contribution to business integrity and sustainable development.

In the Declaration of Principles, the Executive Board of the Materna Group commits itself to the company's internal human rights strategy and thus to respecting and complying with all universal human rights.

In the Code of Procedure, we define the complaints procedure within the Materna Group and provide whistleblowers with information on the protection of their data.
