In her new role, Sora Kim will head the People & Culture division and will be responsible for Learning & Development, Employer Branding, HR Marketing and Recruiting, HR Systems, Services and Processes as well as Labour Law. As a trained lawyer and experienced HR manager, she has over 20 years of cross-industry experience in human resources and people management. Her career has been characterised by management positions in various industries such as consulting, automotive, customer service and logistics, where she has successfully implemented strategic consulting, transformation projects and HR initiatives.

The Materna Group is pursuing its ambitious growth course with the GRIP² by 2027 programme, which aims to achieve a turnover of one billion euros by 2027 and take a market-leading position in the field of artificial intelligence. As part of this strategic direction, Sora Kim will play a key role in shaping the HR strategy for the future and optimally preparing the company and its employees for the challenges of these growth targets.

"We are delighted to have won Sora Kim for the strategic development of our People & Culture division. She not only has extensive management experience and proven HR expertise, but has also demonstrated that she can successfully accompany change processes and cultural developments. At the same time, I would like to thank Martin Brochhaus for his outstanding work and many years of dedication, which have played a decisive role in shaping HR at Materna. I look forward to working with Sora Kim," says Dr René Rüdinger, CFO of the Materna Group.

"The Materna Group is one of the leading medium-sized IT companies and has established itself as one of the most attractive employers. The further development of the People & Culture division and the implementation of innovative talent strategies are decisive steps in supporting the company and its employees in a forward-looking manner. I am delighted to be able to play an active role in shaping these tasks in my new role at Materna," says Sora Kim.
