Greater digital autonomy for public authorities – Materna makes its web solution available on openCode

Public administration faces the key challenge of ensuring its digital capacity to act in an independent and sustainable manner. With the launch of the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) Tremonia DXP on the openCode platform run by the Centre for Digital Sovereignty in Public Administration (ZenDiS), Materna is sending a clear signal in favour of digital sovereignty and open source in the public sector.

Tremonia DXP is now publicly available via the openCode platform at opencode.de/software/tremonia-dxp-4565. openCode is the central platform where open-source software solutions relevant to public administration can be found, shared and jointly developed. The solution was developed specifically to meet the requirements of public authorities and institutions and offers a powerful, modular platform for user-centred internet, intranet and extranet solutions.

“With Tremonia DXP, we are offering a fully open platform that not only impresses from a technological perspective but, through its open-source approach, makes a significant contribution to digital self-determination for the public sector’s online activities,” says Markus Hofmann, Head of the Web Content Management Competence Centre at Materna.
