Fabulous exam results for IT apprentices at Materna

Training remains a key pillar in the development of young talent

 

Materna’s IT apprentices – including IT specialists in application development, IT specialists in system integration and IT systems clerks – performed very well in the 2019/20 Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) winter examinations. Fifteen apprentices successfully completed their training at Materna after two and a half years. The excellent results were celebrated straight away during a pizza get-together with Head of HR Martin Brochhaus (right) and Training Manager Kerstin Aigner (centre). The impressive average mark of 82.2 and the 94 per cent retention rate this half-year are once again something to be proud of. Dennis Bonnmann (left) even completed his apprenticeship as an IT specialist in system integration with the top mark of ‘Very Good’ as his overall grade. Materna employs a total of 88 apprentices.
