Dortmund-based IT firm Materna ranks among the top 10 German IT and telecoms employers

Stern magazine, in collaboration with the statistics portal Statista, has identified the 500 best employers in Germany in an independent survey. In the IT and telecoms sector, the Dortmund-based IT consultancy Materna SE achieved an outstanding eighth place and a fantastic 98th place in the overall ranking of all employers assessed in Germany.

Materna employs over 2,300 staff worldwide, more than 1,100 of whom are based at its Dortmund site.

A total of 45,000 employees were surveyed anonymously via online panels to ensure the most honest responses possible. For each listed company, there had to be at least 100 submitted reviews, half of which were from the company’s own employees and half from other employees in the relevant sector. The resulting Top 500 list spans 24 sectors.
